My dear students, dance parents and friends,
Happy upcoming fall! It is time of learning new dances, styles, and choreography.
We start a NEW Wednesday class session.
The 5 PM class has all of the basic drills and figures of Bronze level. If you feel you need extra attention to brush your fundamentals, come to this class, disregarding the age.
The Ballroom 6-7 PM and Latin 7-8 PM classes are designed for technically advanced dancers and are applicable to Silver and Upper levels.
Knowing your passion for quality dancing and consistent practice, we made an option of taking All Three Hours at a well-discounted rate in order to encourage your learning.
The 6-PM students are welcome to the 5 o'clock class, yet the 5-PM students have to get Anya's approval to attend the 6-8 PM.Attention! We will have a Garage Sale during the 5-8 PM class on Wednesday, September 11th.
Bring your dance items with an attached TAG clearly showing the following: size, height, price, owner's name and phone number. $5 per sold item goes towards rent. You are welcome to take a picture of an item and post it on our Facebook page so as people might get a preview.Please read Costume Rules before buying any costume!
Our Saturday Pee Wee Class for beginning kids of age 3-8 is going on. Join the fun class anytime!
Dear All, I appreciate your flexibility in summer/fall transition of your private lesson times. Please remember, you are welcome to practice during booked teaching hours for a flat fee of $5 per couple. Just inquire the hours available via anyadancing@gmail.com
Here are several different reminders including Adult supervision, Etiquette, Cancellation Policy etc.
~ All children must be escorted by an Adult to the lesson and handed to an instructor, as well as an Adult has to come before the end of a lesson to pick up a child. No dropping or waiting on Parking lot!
~ Dress and look at the lessons close to competition outfit and style. Experiment with your style!
~ All lessons are 50 minute long, come 5-10 minutes before your lesson to warm up. Text-message in case of delay or emergency before your lesson.
In case of cancellation, a 24-hour notice is mandatory. Late fee of $25 is due, if the substitute couple is not found.
~ Make payments prior to your lesson or pay in sets of 5, 10, 20, 100 etc. Anya will give you a punch-card to keep track.
~ While e-mailing to a group, please, reply and copy to everyone on a group list.
~ Only dance shoes or socks are allowed on the dance floor. Everything that you brought into the facility has to be taken with you.
~ English is our official language. Using it, in a presence of different language speakers, keeps friendly and clear environment.
~ Focus on your own progress. Before a lesson, think what is remembered from the last lesson, after the lesson - what you have just learned. Making notes is the most rewarding activity in order to improve.
~ It is very appropriate to apologize for being late or to say short Hello in your break :)
~ Thank you for respecting the rules :)In the fall we have three main competitions that you have to be registered by now. If you are competing, please check.
